Mini Swinging Ship Contest
Hey everyone!
Swinging ships can be found in almost every real park. There's a good chance you have ridden one! Most swinging ships don't invert, but some of them do. For this contest, you will have to build a swinging ship! You can either build a standard swinging ship and decorate it as nicely as possible, or you can create your own variant using coaster trains, and possibly a shoestring! Some people even like to make diagonal versions! The choice is yours.
Rules
- Rule 1: You have to create a swinging ship. You can place a standard swinging ship and decorate it or you can create a custom one using coaster trains.
- Rule 2: Your swinging ship is allowed to invert.
- Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 1st of October at 19:00 CEST!
- Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v2 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v2 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.
- Rule 5: The maximum map size for this round is 200 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 20 x 10 tiles, or 14 x 14 tiles.
- Rule 6: Other than your swinging ship, you are not allowed to have any other opened rides.

How to join
- Step 1: Join my Discord server. Discord is completely free! https://dkmp.wtf/discord
- Step 2: Build your map and decorate it!
- Step 3: When you are done with your contest entry, go on Discord, and send the save file to me in a DM (Direct Message). For the name of the save file, I want you to simply use the name that you use on Discord. For example, if your discord name is Plux, for the save file name, use Plux.park. After you have sent the save file to me, I will look if it follows the rules, and I will check for anything you can still improve. You can resubmit your entry until the deadline of the round, even if I have already accepted it. Please deselect all unused custom objects before sending in the save file!
- Step 4: Submit a story for others to read in the voting poll! You can do this by writing your story in a Direct Message to Deurklink on Discord!
After the deadline has passed, I will put up a voting poll with all the entries. In this voting poll, everyone who is a member on my Discord, including you, will be able to rate all the other entries, and leave a short review.
When the voting period is over I will announce the results in a Youtube video!
