Creating a Frisbee Ride

Hey everyone! Frisbee rides can be found in many parks around the world! They consist of a tower with an arm that swings back and forth. At the end of the arm, there is a vehicle with guests facing either outward or inward, which rotates around its axis while swinging guests around. When people build these in OpenRCT2 typically a Roto-Drop vehicle is used, which does sadly mean the vehicle will stay horizontal as it swings around.


These rides are very simple to build, and don't require any advanced techniques like shoestringing. You just have to build a track with a single station piece and some track curving upwards at both ends, and then launch a vehicle back and forth! In the following screenshot you can see an example of a frisbee ride with the track still visible:

The part that can be most tricky to do is to make a nice platform and structure for the ride. It will usually look nicest with some diagonal supports to hold it up, but it can be tricky to line them up properly!
