In the mid 1990s, an ambitious businessperson decided to open a small amusement park on a tropical island, named Pacifica. Aware that the local population was fairly small, the owner originally opened the park with a selection of cheap, second-hand production model coasters (named after local wildlife!) and a handful of flat rides. Little did the owner realise that theme park enthusiasts from across the globe would soon descend on Pacifica, after hearing about its stunning scenery and rides in a unique island setting.

Naturally, with the unexpected boost in guests, the park has gone from strength to strength over the years and is now home to 36 different attractions in total. With so many rides, space is at a premium in the park, but thanks to the creative team's ingenuity, there is always room for a new attraction! Each new coaster is cleverly weaved between existing rides and makes use of the island's rugged landscape (there are even rides which pierce through a volcano!). Be sure to check out the impressive GCI coaster 'Anaconda', the spectacular water coaster 'Marine Iguana' and the high capacity Schwarzkopf coaster 'Seahorse'.

Enjoy your trip to Pacifica!

NOTE: Although this park was created in OpenRCT2, the park is largely designed to look like a RCT1 expansion pack park. It uses the original scenario ride and scenery list exclusively. Indeed, the only thing from outside RCT1 (and expansion packs) is the extensive use of block brakes (and a support piece around the docking area of the park). In light of the RCT1 vibe, this park is best viewed with RCT1 linked to your OpenRCT2 install, otherwise a lot of the ground textures will be missing (and the park might look hideous!). Anyway, hope you like it!
