Original scenario: Magic Quarters

This is a park I’m calling “New Dimensions”. From pretty much day 1 I said a fart on realism and set out to create something that is magical and fantastical and completely whimsical.

New Dimensions has 5 distinct areas, giving it the feeling of being several unique parks within one. There’s Midsummer Marketplace, inspired by my love of Shakespeare and home to many shops, stalls, and gentler rides. Sakura Mountain is a whimsical “Japan in winter” themed area that blends thrilling rides with the tranquility of a sakura forest. Magic Moroccan Piers, perhaps my favorite area to build, features a ship of the line and several fine restaurants. There’s Volcano Vistas, the ultimate thrill-seeker’s zone built around, on, and into an active volcano. Finally, there’s Heavensfeel Cathedral District, which is the park’s centerpiece, houses the zeppelin stations, and offers guests rides and views that are out of their world.

While that’s certainly a theme I’m comfortable building within, creating New Dimensions challenged me to push well beyond what I’m used to doing with its detailing (there are numerous hidden Kazzrags throughout) and making sure each zone felt totally different but also part of a whole park.

Lastly, this park is a nod to all of you on this channel. RCT was one of my first if not the first computer game I played, and I’ve enjoyed watching and learning from all of you. I’d like to specifically thank Bluetiful_Monday: I studied your Revelations of Stonehenge park intently throughout the process and learned a lot about building detailing and creating a space theme. Also, another specific thanks to Deurklink, Mahdezalg, Manticore, The Bru, ImmortalCactus, and Wes off the top of my head for numerous details, rides, and themes that inspired this park. I’m sure many of you will see—and hopefully enjoy—nods to the things you’ve created. Enjoy!
